What have I been up to all these years?
I was married for 13 years and have 2 wonderful kids, Allison-15 and
Adam-12. I have been divorced 7 years now and have remained good friends
with my ex-husband. I have been seeing someone new for the last 6 years and
became engaged a year and a half ago. We hope to have a small family
wedding this summer but have not set a date yet.
I worked at the Duluth News-Tribune for 10 years, holding several
positions. I quit to give birth to my son, then decided a couple years
later that I liked having my own spending money, so I went back into the
work force. I worked for the last 8/12 years at Maurices corporte office in
Duluth as an Office Service Associate. My fiancee is the Print Shop Manager
at Maurices also. My job was eliminated this past January due to
downsizing. I however, went across the street and started working at
Stewart-Taylor printing 2 days after losing my job with Maurices. I was
lucky to find a job that fast.
My kids keep me busy, even tho they live with their dad, I have them every
2 days and every other weekend. Adam is into sports like his mom and Alli
is into boys, driving and the internet.
I still enjoy playing softball, golf and fishing. We spend our weekends
in the summer months at our seasonal campsite at Timberline Campground in
Sturgeon Lake, MN. We just recently purchased a 40' park model with all the
amenities, so it's hard to call it camping.
In the winter months we like to go cross country skiing and snowmobiling
and traveling to a warm climate for a winter vacation.
That's about it in a nutshell.
