Firdevs (Tacettin) Robinson
Hello everyone..
I have been following the re-union, thanks to Jill and Cynthia. I enjoyed seeing the pictures. I wish I was there to join the fun.
This is an update from me.
For the last 19 years, I've been working for the BBC World Service, as a journalist, broadcaster, foreign correspondent and now the editor of Central Asia & Caucasus Service. My job takes me all over the world but mostly to former Soviet republics of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia. Over the years, I have become something of a Turkish/Middle East specialist, so if there is a big story, I am there, too.
Since 1979, I have been to Duluth three times to visit the wonderful Bauers family. The last visit was in November for Jill's daughter Sara's wedding.
I have been married to John for 22 years now and we have two sons, Tom and Tim. Tom is 16, Tim is 12.
