Jeanne (LeGarde) Warttman

About Jeanne

It hasn't all been a bowl of cherries, but for the most part, I've been blessed with lots of love, laughter and really great people in my life.

I married Don Warttman a year aftrer graduation. The Marines and Golden Glove boxing trained him well for me- we will soon celebrate 25 years of wedded bliss!

We have three kids: Marlene, 23; Bobby, 20 and Joey, 16- all very unique and special, just like everybody else's kids! They were cute and fun when they were little, but watching them grow into adults who can think and act for themselves is really amazing! I should mention- they're all Denfeld kids!

I worked for many years as a nurse, and then as a community health educator. I now work as a claims rep for the Social Security Administration. My husband is the NDI lab supervisor with the 148th ANG.

In my spare time, I like to monkey around in the kitchen or in my garden. I also like to lay on the couch and watch HGTV.

My mom and dad are still on Springvale Rd (but the baseball field is pretty well grown-over!). Most of my family lives in the area, so the LeGardes get together fairly often. I didn't have 14 kids like my mom, but my kids have lots of cousins to hang out with, so they aren't too lonely!

I'm looking forward to this reunion, but I still say the 80th is gonna kick ass!

Yours Truly and Forever a Sweater Girl at Heart,

Jeanne LeGarde Warttman

(p.s. One thing I learned after graduation is that David Sternal used to share his Banana Flip with my brother at lunch every day in 6th grade. What a nice kid!!!)
