Julie (Jezierski) Gross

Hello class of "79
Hardly seems like we've been out 25 years - especially since I am only 25! Guess I need to update my "age" calendar!!
So, what have I been up to these last 25 years? I still work at Maurices in the Buying Office. Hard to believe I've been there 19 years. After many years of traveling to the East coast, I've hung up wings (and frequent flier miles!) as of March. It's given me a much needed time at the homefront. I no longer "miss" any games or concerts with my girls. Yes, my little shopping buddies have grown.
Ashley turned 16 in August and has her driving permit. Now I know why my Dad never drove with me! She's very active at Denfeld and made Varsity Cheerleading (yeah...Mom is back in her glory) Her active school life keeps me young.
Aili (or LuLu as I call her) is 12 and is about to enter Middle School (or Junior High as it was called in the golden years) She is entering in the 7th grade and is about 5'7" Aili is active is basketball. As one could guess - the apples don't fall far from our family tree!
Six years ago I got remarried. His name is Tim and he's from "East" but we won't hold that against him. Our combined family is anything but the Brady Bunch...sometimes more like a Dr Phil episode, but we try. Tim has broadened my horizons for a more low key travel and love for the great outdoors. He's a hunter...I'm a shopper - You can take the girl out of the city - but you can't take the city out of the girl.
My hope for all of my fellow classmates is a chance for happiness (whatever that may be) and good health. I hope to see many of you at the reunion. Remember, you only hit 25 once (or in my case...every year)
