Lori (Cordes) Giltner

Amazing to read the bio's for everyone that graduated from class of '79. I feel like that was another life...maybe it was. To say what has gone on since then would take a lifetime but I will try to make this the abridged version.
After high school I moved to Grand Rapids, MN to attend Itasca community college for one year where I met a "cake eater" by the name of Tom MacLeod whom I married on 8-08-81and divorced in 94. We moved to the cities due to the lack of work in Duluth and Grand Rapids. We had two girls...he earned the name "braindead" and is now married to his X-best friend's X-wife..who used to be my X-bestfriend and the X-godmother to my two girls...enough said about him..out of sight out of mind.
I met my current husband on a local internet....I was mnsuzybell and he was txblueeyes. Rich and I have been married since 11/01/1996...happy to say he is normal.
I worked for Norwest bank for 13 years until my position was eliminated, then took a couple years off to spend with my girls...I am currently back in the workplace full time and think I like it...ask me again in a year or two.
My oldest daughter, Samantha, is 16 and will be getting her drivers license on Sept. 20th and has already bought her first car. She is a brain at math and wants to be a teacher when she gets older....she also loves theatre and will be a Junior this year at Blaine HS.
Ashley is going to be 14 in a couple weeks and she is taller then me. "Bug" is her nickname and she loves animals...so we now have 3 ferrets, a rescue black lab, a rescue yellow lab and a small (80lb) white german shephard....told her enough is enough - but if you look in her bedroom you will see wolf pictures and statues everywhere.
I have two of my brothers living in Coon Rapids, my mom and dad live nearby too. My oldest brother lives in Ashland Wisc so go thru Duluth on the way to visiting him. I miss Duluth but go there as often as possible. To be continued....
