Lunette (Nelson) Blomgren

I first came to St. Paul to finish college at the U of MN way back in 1981. I liked it and stayed after graduation.

My husband, Dean, and I married in 1992. We have one son together who will be entering first grade this year. Dean has 2 sons from his first marriage who are 17 (Jake) and 20 (Dean). If you add in Dean’s mother who is 87, 2 fish and 1 eel, our life is rather busy.

We have a charming old house on the East side of St. Paul with lots of hardwood flooring and built-ins. I was not blessed with a green thumb so our gardens are as maintenance free as possible (which usually means full of weeds).

We all enjoy traveling and our current favorite is the Grand Canyon area.

Our son, Sean, has seemingly endless amounts of energy and curiosity and we spent hours trying to catch rather elusive lizards. Sean remains undaunted.

I have been in Human Resources for over 16 years now and enjoy it immensely. I am currently at St. Paul Harley-Davidson/Buell as a 1-person HR department.

I’ve been playing bass clarinet in a community band for many, many years and play at various events and concerts. Dean has worked in the residential care industry for more than 20 years and enjoys the opportunity to work directly with special needs adults.

My parents still live in the same house on Fifth Street while one sister is in Maplewood, one is in Rochester, and another is in Oregon.

Well, that’s my life in a nutshell…any questions?
